Fabulous news, the two new second floor classrooms are under construction and are progressing well. The roof was added before the heavy rains which has saved a lost of time and frustration. We are looking at a completion date in May, well before the summer holidays.

With the funding completed for the build work, there is also additional funding coming through from generous supporteres and this has enabled us to order 70 desks and 2 teacher work stations. We do ask for tenders for such additional materials but invariably order the furniture from Methodist Church Kenya Community Centre;  established by the Methodist Church in Kenya in 1980 with "a view to assist the needy through training, and other programs". The workshops provide training and employment opportunties for marginalised young men. It also means that the money sent from the UK enters the local economy and helps to support many families in a small way.
